The history of sledding began as mankind’s earliest modes of transportation!
Man found moving people and materials through snowy and icy conditions, was far easier via sled than by wheel’s.
The “Flexible Flyer” was patented by Samuel Leeds Allen in 1889. This farmhouse chic sled, is Circa 1930’s, No. 44J, Planet Jr., “Airline Series”.
In a beautiful rustic chic wood patina, with eagle & arrow logo still visible, original steering ropes for sled guide, and red iron blades.
In fabulous working condition, if not for a nostalgic Christmas ride, the use’s for vintage Christmas styling and Home Decor, are endless...

TruffleandFig ships first class and priority. TruffleandFig provides tracking with all purchases. Apartments, condos, businesses will require a signature confirmation.
