International Giftware Series, circa 1930’s, and produced by the International Silver Company.
A brief history of Lurelle Guild…
According to Sothebys he was an Art Deco architect.
Mostly, known as the designer of the Electrolux vacuum.
His works are mostly available through auction, and shown in museums.
Guild’s designs for The International Silver Company have been shown in the following museum collections:
Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, New York; Dallas Museum of Art; the Metropolitan Museum of Art and more…
