An extraordinary framed hand colored resin plate or panel, by Henry Francois Farny.
A brief history…
1847-1916
A French born American painter and illustrator. His work was centered on the life of Native Americans in the 19th century United States. Farny’s family left France in 1853 to emigrate to the United States.
Attracted by painting and drawing, the young man became an illustrator for magazines and books for children. When he was 18 years old, Harper’s Weekly published in April 1889 a centerfold of
“Sicilian and Italian Fisherman Dock - San Francisco“.
A depiction of seaman and fisherman docked and ready to set sail. With some taking their much needed naps on the dock. The hand colorings highlight and capture an old world charm of seafaring life.

TruffleandFig will only then proceed with the refund once the required information is fulfilled. Refunds will be issued in 7-10 business days, holidays permitting.
Should a buyer run into a problem due to breakage of shipping, save all packing materials with photos, and contact TruffleandFig as soon as possible. TruffleandFig will contact USPS/UPS to attain reimbursement for damaged items. Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you have questions on Etsy's process they have advised to call 844-659-3879.
