Original vintage chuck box...
Circa 1960’s, these camp kitchens are hard to find in any condition.
In a deep rich brown metal, with a creamy font. This handled box is a necessary essential for camping life.
When packed up, it’s a traditional rustic metal handled box, unpacked she folds down to reveal compartments for all one’s necessities…shelving, utensil drawer, magnetic hooks, paper towel holder, surface uses, & work stations.
A drop down front is an option for space, or maybe used flat for more workspace.
A brief history…
The chuck box, an all-purpose cooking compartment from the chuckwagon, became a vital part of the cowboy’s mobile kitchen.
In the 60's and & 70's, she has been reinvented into the camping kitchen.
This vintage chuck box is in beautiful condition, with typical wear noted throughout.
Her weathering gives a rustic patina
One could only imagine the campfire stories which have been recited in her presence!

Should a buyer run into a problem due to breakage of shipping, save all packing materials with photos, and contact TruffleandFig as soon as possible.
